ABOUT HIVE
Hive Frame Construction is an experienced company, specialising in light gauge steel framing, Timber framing and any aspect of site carpentry. We are a highly motivated, qualified, professional team working under two directors who bring 50 years of experience and knowledge. Our directors have worked with the likes of McCarthy & Stone, Gaskins, OFP Timber Frame and Churchill Retirement to name a few. Our director has won an NHBC seal of excellence, pride in the job award and sub-contractor of the year for McCarthy & Stone.
LIGHT GAUGE STEEL
One cubic metre of steel can produce up to 21 times more houses than timber. Up to 85% of steel used can be recycled.
TIMBER
Timber frames are now being used for around one in four new homes built in the UK and has many advantages compared to other methods of building.
